Isaacson, known for his compelling biographies such as Benjamin Franklin, Steve Jobs, and Leonardo da Vinci, has consistently achieved bestseller status with his works.     Idaho Murders Get Patterson Treatment:

    James Patterson and esteemed journalist Vicky Ward are collaborating on a true crime book recounting the tragic murders of four University of Idaho students in November 2022. This week, 28-year-old graduate student Bryan Christopher Kohberger was indicted on four counts of first-degree murder. While publisher Little, Brown confirmed the authors’ active participation in Kohberger’s trial, conducting exclusive interviews to gather valuable insights, the book’s title and release date are still undetermined. Additionally, Skydance Television intends to option the rights to the book for development into a docuseries.

    Trailer for “Killers of the Flower Moon:”

    Apple Studios has unveiled a trailer for the film adaptation of David Grann’s bestselling nonfiction book, Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI, directed by Martin Scorsese. Grann’s acclaimed 2017 book chronicles the chilling murders that plagued the Osage Nation in Oklahoma during the 1920s. The trailer, featuring a voiceover by Leonardo DiCaprio, who portrays Ernest Burkhart, introduces the story of Mollie Burkhart, an Osage woman whose family members were victims of the crimes. DiCaprio’s narration delves into Osage culture and history, offering a glimpse into the compelling narrative. The trailer showcases scenes with Lily Gladstone as Mollie Burkhart, alongside an ensemble cast including Robert De Niro, Jesse Plemons, and Brendan Fraser.     Allies Become Enemies:

    In Dead Drop, the action-packed sequel to M.P. Woodward’s explosive debut novel, The Handler, readers are transported into a world of intrigue and suspense where a sinister plot is orchestrated by a ruthless terrorist organization set on creating chaos.

    Mr. Paradise Hits Big Screen:

    Thora Birch (Patriot Games, Hocus Pocus, Ghost World) is set to adapt Elmore Leonard’s novel, Mr. Paradise. Originally published in 2004 by Morrow/HarperCollins, Leonard’s gripping story revolves around a model who serves as the paid companion to an elderly lawyer and finds herself entangled in a double murder at his lavish mansion.
