In a press statement about the single, Pussy Riot’s Nadya Tolokonnikova said, “This song will put the patriarchy in a tiny cage and throw the key out.”
Last year, Pussy Riot released Matriarchy Now, and Alice Glass shared her solo debut, Prey//IV. In 2021, Boys Noize remixed Pussy Riot’s “Rage.”
