Bob Dylan will play the legendary Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland this summer. Dylan tops a bill that spans two weeks of concerts from June 30 to July 15, including shows across two venues from Sam Smith, Lil Nas X, Caroline Polachek, Wet Leg, Pat Metheny, Christine and the Queens, Iggy Pop, Mavis Staples, Overmono, and, on the closing night, Janelle Monáe, Nile Rodgers & Chic, and Mark Ronson. Dylan plays the second night at the Auditorium Stravinski, on July 1. Scroll down or head to the festival website to see the lineup so far.
A free program will be announced on June 1. Last year, Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood’s the Smile became the latest major act to release a live album excerpted from the Montreux Jazz Festival show.
