What’s the story behind the story? What inspired you to write Unpyre Revelations (Unpyre Chronicles Book One )?
I started the planning of the book shortly after I’d finished my first series (Merlyn Academy). I really wanted to experiment with a dual point of view and my two main characters, Tia and Chyros, just jumped out for me. They were a welcome distraction from the on and off lockdowns!

What’s your favorite genre to read? Is it the same as your favorite genre to write?
A tie between YA and Historical Fiction.
What books are on your TBR pile right now?
The Hunger Games Series!
What scene in your book was your favorite to write?
When the two main characters first meet.
Do you have any quirky writing habits? (lucky mugs, cats on laps, etc.)
I can’t seem to write without a cup of coffee. There’s something about the smell that gets me into ‘writer’ mode.
Do you have a motto, quote, or philosophy you live by?
I quite like the Stoic philosophy for life.
If you could choose one thing for readers to remember after reading your book, what would it be?
That everyone is redeemable if they truly want to change
