Vanessa Hudgens returned to the CFDA Awards for the first time in years. The actor, who last attended the stylish ceremony honoring the best in the fashion business back in 2015, walked the red carpet on Nov. 7 at Casa Cipriani in New York City. Posing alongside Vera Wang, Hudgens wore an edgy custom ensemble by the classic designer.
Hudgens worked with her stylist Jason Bolden to bring the look to life. Featuring a sheer lace bra top with floral detailing and a floor-length maxi skirt, the set dialed up the allure. She draped a see-through white coat on top, accessorizing with lavish earrings and rings from Tourneau and Bucherer Fine Jewellery. Wang matched in an all-black look herself, wearing an off-the-shoulder minidress with thigh-high stockings and pointed platform heels. The pair was among many fashionable guests at the awards on Tuesday evening, including Kylie Jenner, Julia Fox, Keke Palmer, and more.
Hudgens has worn Vera Wang for big moments in the past. When she hosted the 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards in June, the actor hit the red carpet in a custom cobalt-blue, off-the-shoulder gown with a high-low neckline by the designer for one of her seven looks. And at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party in 2020, Hudgens twirled around the carpet in a gorgeous purple silk halter dress that came with a statement bow, also from Vera Wang.
Prior to her CFDA Awards appearance, the actor was most recently on the red carpet for the annual Thriller Halloween party on Oct. 28. The Halloween-loving star rocked a high-neck gown covered in black and silver feathers and cutouts. Hudgens also just returned from a relaxing getaway in Maui, HI, where she showed off her unparalleled swimsuit collection.
