Margot Robbie Dyed Her Signature Blonde Hair a Much Darker

Margot Robbie, who is set to star in the lead role of upcoming movie Barbie, is taking a break from her signature blonde hair for now. The actress stepped into the autumn season with a muchdarker ‘bronde’ balayage, leaving her former peroxide blonde tone nothing but a distant memory.

Robbie’s new color is proving to be quite popular, with celebrities including Khloé Kardashian, Hailey Bieber, and Camila Cabello all opting to dye their hair darker brunette shades as spooky season approaches.

Instead of the usual “new hair, new Instagram selfie” debut, the star showcased her hair color refresh at a red carpet premiere. Posing alongside Rami Malek, Andrea Riseborough and Christian Bale, Robbie attended the European premiere for upcoming film Amsterdam.

Photos made it clear that her hair now is much darker than her once bleach blonde.

So what exactly is bronde hair? In short, it’s a blend of both brunette and blonde tones. To keep the new look as subtle as can be, Robbie has had her likely natural brunette root blended into the grown-out blonde using a natural balayage technique. To frame the face, her long front layered strands have been kept pretty light, which are also usually referred to as “money pieces.” All in all, it’s the perfect transitional shade for the transitional period between seasons.
