If you can’t get enough of Survivor (heading into its 42nd season on CBS), you’re going to want to watch the new adventure reality show coming to NBC.
The network has teamed with Studio Lambert to produce Talpa’s new adventure reality show, Million Dollar Island (working title). The ultimate prize is a share of $1 million.
The new series is described as a high-stakes social experiment that takes 100 contestants to a remote desert island for up to 50 days. The contestants must build friendships and alliances in hopes of making it to the end and winning their share of the prize money. When they arrive on the island, the contestants each receive a bracelet worth $10,000. They then will gain and lose bracelets through various challenges, and when a player leaves the island, they choose who receives their portion of the money. Like with most of these reality competitions, that means that the strength of your personal bonds are just as important as being the ultimate player.

Studio Lambert’s Tim Harcourt and Jack Burgess also serve as executive producers.
