THE GOALS OF NAOMI SKY

master mentalism tricks

Naomi Sky is a singer-songwriter from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She has three singles out now on all streaming platforms. Naomi Sky is a recent graduate of the University of Miami and has a degree in communication studies and a minor in music from the Frost School of Music. She is known for her honest and introspective lyrics. As Naomi Sky says, “We all play many different roles in life, and every unique role that we play, every part of us, makes up the whole. Life is a combination of logic and magic.” She uses songwriting to explore the different roles she plays. Her music is deeply rooted in love, faith, loyalty, curiosity, and embracing the unknown. Sky’s songs have been featured in various media outlets. Naomi Sky is currently working on new singles that she will be releasing in 2022. As she continues to grow as an artist, Naomi Sky hopes to inspire individuals to accept, celebrate, and release their emotions and be unapologetically themselves.

Who are you taking a page from when it comes to achieving your music goals?

I look up to artists like Ariana Grande and Jennifer Lopez who pursued their dreams with passion, determination, and consistency. Both women did whatever it took and believed in themselves wholeheartedly, and now, they are both extremely successful.

What do you have your heart set on for your music career?

I would love to have a community, fans, individuals who relate to my music, and I dream of being able to use my social media pages to interact with them about everything from new releases to manifestation.

When are you finishing up your next project?

The goal is to finish it by the end of December, so new music is coming to you in 2022!

How do you respond to obstacles in the music making process?

Every career path is full of challenges, like life, but I think challenges can make the process more interesting. When I encounter an obstacle while I’m making music, I reframe my mindset and turn the challenge into a fun experience. I ask myself questions, like “How can I change this verse so I feel excited about the song again?”. I also zoom out and remind myself that every challenge or obstacle pushes me to grow in some way.

What does it take to apply all your focus in making a project come to fruition?

It takes determination, passion, flexibility, creativity, and genuine energy. The authenticity in a project is key for me.

What are you gaining from spending your time on ultimately doing what you love?

I feel like I’m learning more about myself, expanding as a human, and I feel happy and fulfilled. When I’m happy, I’m also able to give from an overflowing cup and be there for my friends and family, really show up with loving energy and give them my full attention.

Are there any other passions aside from your music that’s getting your attention?

I love dancing, and I’ve been working on improving my dance technique. I hope to share some new choreography or improvisational dance videos on my social media pages soon!
