While everything is still quiet on what a sequel to Matt Reeves’ The Batman might look like, one actor already has a plan ready for what villain he would want to play.

Speaking during a recent appearance at the ongoing SXSW festival in Austin, Texas, actor Nicolas Cage spoke about the movie and said that he would like to play a lesser-known villain that appeared in the 1960s television series.

“Oh, here’s something,” Cage said. “I’ve been thinking about this, because you know we have the new, Robert Pattinson as the Batman, which I’m excited to see, I haven’t seen it yet, but I think he would be terrific. The villain that Vincent Price played on the ’60s show, Egghead, I think I want to have a go at Egghead. I think I could make him absolutely terrifying, and I have a concept for Egghead, so let them know over at Warner Bros., I’m down for Egghead.”

For those unaware, Egghead was a character created specifically for the 1960s Batman television series and was played by the horror film icon Vincent Price. The character was known mostly for his large, bald head, and believed himself to be the world’s smartest criminal, with his acts usually featuring some sort of egg motif. While it’s unclear if Egghead will ever make a return in future Batman properties, it seems like Warner Bros. would know who to call should they want to include him.
