Funimation February Blu-ray Releases Headlined by Attack on Titan

Funimation announced its lineup of Blu-ray and DVD releases for February 2022, and the group is highlighted by the first part of Attack on Titan‘s final season, as well as some other critically acclaimed films.

One of the first major releases for Funimation is Josee, the Tiger and the Fish, which is set to release on February 8, 2022, on Blu-ray for the first time ever. The film’s physical release will come packaged with a 1-Disc original Japanese soundtrack by Evan Call and will feature a variety of special features on the Blu-ray, including a special interview with director Tamura Kotaro, unrevealed special footage from the pilot of the film, promo videos, commercials, and more.

Later on in the month, both a Limited and Standard Edition Blu-ray box set for Attack on Titan Final Season Part 1 will release on February 22, 2022. The Limited Edition of Attack on Titan Final Season Part 1 will feature a variety of special features and items packaged in, including:

Finally, one of the other biggest releases is the complete series of the 2016 adaptation of Berserk. Based on Kentaro Miura’s iconic manga series, the 2016 version of Berserk is the second television series adaptation following the 1997 anime that aired for a year. The full series collects all 24 episodes of the series, which initially ran from 2016-17.
